1972 Vista Cruiser

1972 Olds Vista Cruiser. With just over 100k miles. Its a southern car, so its pretty solid. The Vista came with some good options. 350 motor th400 trans. Power brakes, Power Steering, A/C, Power Windows, 3rd Row seating. It runs and drives great. Its got a low mile 71 Olds 350 (#7 Heads) with a 2bl carb. Runs smooth and quiet. Trans shifts good. All power windows work. (a couple can be finicky at times) I just put New rear brakes, New rear shocks, New front sway bar links, New Front shocks. Motor is all freshly tuned up, and new Fluids (oil and coolant) Tires have low miles. Newer HD battery. All lights and signals work. Good spare tire in the back. Floors are all solid. Nice dash. Clean under the hood. Heat works good. It has the back door that folds down like a tail gate, or opens like a door. Both rear rows of seats fold down to a flat open space in the back. The Vista could use a few things. (see the bad below) But as it is, Its a turn key good driver. Comes with extra parts that i got with it. Extra glass, interior trim, power door lock set with door panels and switches, rear spoiler.

The Bad

Someone broke out the driver window before and rain soaked and ruined the carpet so it has NO Carpet. But the window has been replaced. No front headliner (IDK Why) It has some rust at the bottom of the front fenders (seen in pics) And some starting around a few spots on the vista glass (not bad) Some sun paint fading with slight surface rust. Someone before me tried sanding down a spot and priming over it (poorly) So i wetsanded it down and bought some color matching paint. (FYI it doesnt match) LOL but it looks so much better. Its on the pas Quarter (seen in pics) No radio. Gas gauge doesnt work. The A/C doesnt work. It needs a windshield, it has a large crack in the center. And the door seals could be replaced.

I have a clean title in hand and you can drive the vista home if wanted. Feel free to come by and check it out. $2500 OBO email for more pics or call 63o-885-11o1 Josh

Looks like a very decent car, considering, and your price is very reasonable. I wish I had the room for it. Good luck.

If i didnt need the money right now, i would keep it. I would swap in a BB, clean it up paint it myself, and drive the crap out of it!

I think I remember seeing that - I just waited till I saw the post. I saw it the day you listed it.
Looks very solid and optioned well. Price was right.
It needs some work on the paint and woodgrain, and that is just beyond my abilities and resources. I am seeking something more turn-key on the outside.
Whoever bought yours will have a swell looking wagon! I hope you suggested to the buyer to join this site and post progress!
