Ebay's new WTF Cutlass (68 Conv)

This is just ridiculous. "It has over 10000 in airbrush of demons, angels, skulls and more...."

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Oldsm...:B:SHOP:US:101

I never thought I was say this about a paint job on a Cutlass, but possible NSFW (not suitable for work). There are big breasted angels painted on the doors haha.

I must admit, the paint artwork is great. I like it.
The rest of the car, no.
Looks like the collision of two extremes...

My own thought has always been that people who do things like that to a car are not true car people. They're exhibitionists and attention ******. A bad case of "look at me!" in other words.

That paint job is well done. That is my way of saying I know it took a lot of time, skill, and effort. Doesn't mean I like it though. Gross

Love the paint, but not on a creampuff convertible. 68 Convertibles aren't meant to be scary or tough.

This looks like Shirley Temple covered head to toe in tattoos with roller skates on.

The paint would look great on a 68 hardtop with slicks, wheelie bars, and open side headers.

paint

I am an ORIGINAL type of car buff, but this bugger would have to works it way up to an abomination I would admit that it takes talent to do what has been done to this poor Cutlass, but next time when one of these yahoos has to much money burning a hole in his pocket, give it to someone who wants to do a correct restoration.

Case in point, I was at the Auburn auto auction some years ago and someone took a FWD Calais cut the top off and juiced (hydraulics) 24k gold plated pumps with a pillow top type cloth interior and to top it all off a Lime metallic green paint job with L.A. 1000 wire wheels of course 24k plated
30K invested!! SOLD for $6000.00 talk about stepping over a $20 to pick up a $5!!

I do bodywork day in and day out i can appreciate a paint job like this. This is just overkill., but hey to each their own. If i had the kind of money that was burning a hole in my pocket id probably do some rediculous stuff too.

The one guy in the world that wants to own this already owns it.
I'd have to gut it and rebuild it to look more like mine.
