1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass S Convertible

1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible. Rocket 350 with a rebuilt 4 bbl (I have the original 2 bbl manifold and carb) with a powerglide transmission. I was told the drive train is original but I haven't checked the numbers. The car is red with a white interior and top. The paint is faded a bit but still shines somewhat, the top (Has convertible boot) and interior are in good condition. Body is straight with minimal rust on passenger side rear lower quarter, rocker panel & fender bottoms. The rest of the body appears to be solid with some very light bondo on the drivers quarter and passenger fender. Frame, trunk (Was repaired) and floors all appear to be solid. All the factory trim is on the car and in driver condition, all glass is in good condition, Olds Rally wheels with good tires, power top, steering and brakes, dual exhaust and all the lights work. The car runs and drives well and is in very good driver condition (I had the car out this weekend and noticed the transmission slipping a bit when you get on it while it shifting from 1st to 2nd, it's fine when you're simply cruising) This is the perfect cruiser that still turns heads. Clear Title In My Name. Asking $8,995 Negotiable. PM me if interested. Thanks.

1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible

Sorry, I'm in Queens, New York. I had the car out today and it feel like the transmission is slipping a bit if you get on it therefore I'm knocking $500 off my asking price. The new price is $8,495. Here are some more pictures. Thanks.

I thought that looked like Queens.

going to be tough to get anywhere close to your asking price with the tranny issue amount of body work that will be needed.

I'll keep your contact stored if you want to knock a few thousand more off the price.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not ready to knock of $2K but will work with any interested parties as I am more of a Pontiac guy. I understand it will need work but it is a running/driving and straight numbers matching car with most of the original paint still on it. The drivers quarter and passenger fender seem to be the only panels that have been painted. Thanks again for your time and feedback.
