He correctly decoded the trim tag and it is supposed to have a white top as stated, but pics show a black top.

I bet you will get an email in approximately one week that goes something like this:
Hello and thanks for the interest in the car. It is in perfect condition with no issues at all at the moment. I am currently out of the country and will need to do the transaction online.... blablabla"
they always pull that crap. it must have happened to me three to four times

I just got an email and it said they feel they are asking too much for the car, they will ship it to me along with title and if I like it please forward whatever I think is appropriate to an Indiana address

Sorry guys. I thought that it was legit. There was just so much detail that you normally don't see in a scam add. Also, there are quite a few rich bastards in the Noblesville/Fishers/Carmel area that might actually have a Indy Pace Car collection like that.

Very interesting; I didn't look close enough at this second iteration...PAYS to be watchful on the Ebay AND 'CL' things! Keep us posted; will be interesting to see how this unravels.....IF It does at all...
