I see that you have a bid and that there is no reserve, so apparently the car is sold. Congratulations. Two hours and seven minutes remaining as of this writing.

Ha Ha no...

Ha Ha... No it's not sold yet that was a false bid to try and get the auction rolling but it didn't work. I Think I need to pay someone to take some pictures because my camera doesn't do this car any justice. Why are you interested?

I've been watching these cars go on ebay for 10 - 15k in crap condition with over 100k miles on them you two have no clue what your talking about. Maybe you should do your research before you comment on something you know nothing about! Also driverchoice when was it you did that car and sold it, 15 years ago? The NADA is below and as you see the low retail is over 10k! My car is in pristine condition with only 56k miles on it!

Actually they do know what they are talking about, and yours has a funky paint job that detracts from the value as does the incorrect interior materials. (gold trim, really?)

and looking at the link you posted the low retail is $8,750 and that was clicking your link directly as well

BUT if you want to go buy that logic with Nada....

How many people hav tried to sell there Vista cruiser on here for under 7k and they are better then a low retail (meaning dealer selling btw) condition and still not have them sold... sure as hell not seeing one go for 30k thats for damn sure.

And with the Ebay thing, the most expensive one, besides yours that was a misbid, was at $4044, and that was a numbers matching as well with original color i am guessing, where on the other hand you have a custom paint job which from what i seen with Olds people here on this site can drop the value for them due to there going to strip it down and bring it to its original color and find original parts for a number matching car. But hey what would i know i just use google ebay and reading with experience fomr reading what olds people think.

i restored the car for my fathers 70th birthday about 4 years ago, gave it to him didnt sell it,i spent over 9k of my own money on chrome ,parts ,panels brakes, tires some interior, windshield, tune up (80 k orig) paint and material etc not counting price of car and my labor ,back then when things were still good i think 20k would have been top dollar because of popularity, and if i did the car to flip at that price it would have been a loser so thats all i have to say about that because by looking at that car i can see your a guy that cant be reasoned with

Just because you put $$$ into it, does not translate into value of the car. You will be hard pressed to see 8k for it, and, as ebay has shown, you are not getting any worthy bids on it.

And just because it is not the original color does not mean the numbers don't all match because they do!!! Dare you to test that theory? Put money on it? Shows how much you idiots know about classic cars!!!! Oh and by the way the original 66 toronado came in 20 colors one of them is ebony black the same color mine is with all I did was put metal flake in it look it up!!! And i dare you to try and find one in one of the original colors it wont happen so you say after market brings down the value? Then i guess jay leno's 66 with 1400 horse is only worth about $1000 then? You people have no right to be on any classic car forum!!!!
