1964 Starfire coupe and convertible pkg deal

For Sale:two 1964 Oldsmobile Starfires. One coupe (running driver) and one convertible (rolling project)
Coupe has been pampered by me for over 25 yrs. Always garaged. Original Colorado car. Very little rust. (back bumper rusted out in normal spot)Odometer shows 125k
Recent complete rebuild (.030) of 394 engine.(approx. 5,000 miles) HP cam, hardened valve seats on ALL intake and exhaust, s/s valves, Egge Pistons, port matched heads, etc...have over $3500 in receipts from this job
All underhood componants redone while motor out. Carb rebuilt, dist. recurved. starter rebuilt, All new ignition/tune-up. radiator rebuilt, new clutch fan.
Fully loaded; gorgeous red leather interior, p/s, p/b, p/w, 4 way drivers seat, rare cruise control, cold A/C, power antenna, am/fm, Sony CD player in glovebox w/i-pod hook-up and 10 disc changer in trunk, rare vent shades.
Almost new tires and 15x8 spoked wire wheels. Have all original rims and hubcaps. Entire brake system rebuilt. (recommend new booster)
Front springs cut, air bags on rear. )bags installed with temporary "T" fitting and schraeder valve)
SlamTech 6" SS250psi bags, for the rear. And two billet aluminum solenoid valves, each with two switches. (Nass Magnet name on switches) , and a 5 gallon air tank (7 outlets total).

Top was scalloped/painted two years ago, rest of paint is fair and faded.
NOTE:transmission will stick in 2nd gear till warmed up, then shifts perfectly. IMHO, from my many years of A/T repair, I think it may have stuck governor?? This was my next project, to remove, diagnose and repair. Could probably swap trans from convertible for a quick fix.

Convertible has been in my posession for almost 15 yrs. Came from the factory as a red on red with black top. Car fully optioned with p/s, p/b, p/w. Have included picture of restored example. Tons of extra parts including everything to make this a factory A/C car. Most of the bodywork done, car is in primer. Small dent in LR from transport down from Ohio. One of 1250 made, very rare. Sorry about photos, can take more and e-mail if nesc.
$7,500 takes all. Plan on bringing a trailer. Have adjusted price to get transmission repaired and air bag job completed. This car attracts tons of attention at shows and you will likely never see another one parked next to you.
