Specs on this project car
Original engine: VIN #V320534 Data Tag: 548M68265 -- 4 barrel carb 324 V8 (missouri title rated hp is 48), Auto 3 speed, 4-dr Original dash with original high-beam detector, Good transmission, Brakes rebuilt, seats original and badly worn, headliner started but not finished. Basically, this is a completely original 42-year old car that someone started to renovate but only got as far as giving it a coat of the wrong color of paint (although it has protected the body from rust), and taken the door panels off. But all the parts are there, except the wheel covers. Nothing custom done anywhere. I guess you could call this a virgin project car. This Olds Rocket 88 has all the chrome and emblems and hood ornaments. Original hubcaps. There is a chrome glovebox in the dash now, but notice in the parts photo that there is another glovebox door (plus an extra set of the two narrow ashtrays that fit on each side of the glovebox). Included with the car are all the upholstery materials and new carpet the previous owner had purchased to use in the car. |
