1974 HURST/OLDS Pace car
This is an (always) adult owned and un-abused 1974 HURST/OLDS, originally from Oklahoma. It is an original white/white interior car, and the proper colors for the Indy Pace car decal /replica package. Passed PA inspection in spring, reliable and smooth to drive. One of 1420 with the 350 engine package. Interior has the swivel buckets, rallye gauges, and an aftermarket radio. True to the 350 engine are the original 14" wheels. The car is factory equipped with the HD suspension.
Factory options include Cruise Control, Air conditioning, Power windows. The special padded top was recently replaced. An interesting anomaly is that this car was not factory equipped with the unique hood ornament or trunk H/O emblem. My previous 74 H/O had them, this one did not.My friend has a re-production Hood ornament that was available in the 1980's. Under my friends ownership, he has had the transmission serviced and O-rings replaced, converted the points to HEI (Have old distributor), and did a complete service on the vehicle. He has many receipts from work done over the years, and information about the original owner. Car has all the original owners manuals, service records, and the HURST booklet, and the shop manual. This car is no trophy queen, and will need a restoration if you are after trophies and car show glory, but represents itself well to those select few who know what a Hurst/Olds is, and the uniqueness of these special cars. My friends intent was to collect parts and restore the car, but room, time, and finances will not allow it, and he wants someone to do just that. Not many of these are left, so here is your chance to get an Indy Pace car.
Plenty of additional pictures available, PM me your contact information if you would like to see the car. Car (and owner) is located in Bethlehem, PA. Serious inquiries only please.
$4,000 obo
Thanks,
Bill S.

I met Dan and his car 2 years ago at the Delaware Valley Olds H/O day show. Dan is a nice guy. As for his car , it is a solid car to restore and it runs good. At that price its a steal! I wish I had the space right now or it would be in my HO garage!

A deposit has now been taken, thanks to all for spreading the word for my friend Dan.
Sincerely,
Bill S.
PS: I'm still in search of a decent 442 convertible project Those infected with the "Barrett Jackson syndrome" need not respond
