For sale: Street/Strip 455, 1981 Cutlass LS
455 2 bolt main
Sealed Power forged aluminum pistons, .040 over honed with torque plates remanufactured factory crank reconditioned rods balanced rotating assembly New balancer Edelbrock Performer RPM heads Mondello roller rocker arms Fel-Pro gaskets Edelbrock Torker 455 intake gear drive OR 3 piece timing set, your choice ARP rod bolts ARP head bolts ARP main studs Milodon windage tray Melling HV oil pump Sheet metal aluminum valve covers All machine work and labor performed at Syracuse Crank & Machine. The motor is not yet complete. Tell me what carburetor, cam and lifters you want and I will have the motor finished. The car is a 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass LS. 4 door sedan, all the bells and whistles for 1981. PW, PS, PB, AT, AC (not installed, have all parts), front discs. Blue metallic paint shines with color coded rallye wheels. Lots of factory chrome, cloth interior in good conditon. Sagging headliner, rip in driver side seat. Not a restored car but very, very pretty and in good condition. TH400 tranny rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago. I have a few pictures of the car available. May separate car and engine if all the numbers are right. Make offers. Be REASONABLE. Please don't email me and tell me you'll give me 2000 bucks for just the complete long block. Please don't call me and offer me 3000 for the car and a complete long block. Use common sense, would you be willing to lose that much money? A number that will grab my attention is somewhere around $7000 for a fully assembled long block and the car. Contact me and let's make a deal, very willing to negotiate. Once a purchase is made you'll have to wait for the motor to be completely assembled. May take a couple weeks depending the work load at Syracuse Crank. I'm a Mopar guy, itching to start a Lil' Red Express project, Oldsmobile has got to go. Car is located in Syracuse, NY Call me at 315-396-9096 Email me at anthony.lenhardt@yahoo.com Thank you! Lenny,
list the cam specs and you might get some bites. BTW all modern Olds Rockets are 2 bolt mains, that 4 bolt main thing is just a chevy deal.
