Is the trunk spoiler 3 piece? Looks a bit wide and 1 piece to me..

I believe the tires on the car are the exact type it came with.

The spoiler on the trunk is a 3 piece.

I can't load the pics up on my iPhone where I'm at right now and don't know exactly what the 83's came with, but my 86 442 came with Goodyear Eagle GT tires. They stopped making them and I remember switching to the Eagle GT II tires.

thanks
Usually when ever u give a bottom line $ to someone they then offer you less. That just gives them a new asking price to start chopping u from.

How about $ 9500? & if that's not cheap enough, what would you like to pay? Or at what price would you be happy buying the car at?

Give it some thought & come up with a real cash offer.

Ck our website www.mercedeshowroom.com for better pics.

The tires are the original TYPE G.T's with the lettering outlined not all block white lettering

Send me a few more pics and the Vin info. If it all looks good I'll come and get the Car this weekend of May 16 if we can hammer out a quick price. Send them to corcoranjackc@aol.com. I'll let you know within days. Never mind the photo's now, I found the ones at the website. Just send me the details of the Vin and if the Car needs anything to be driven back to the Florida west coast. Thanks.

I was actually going to make a trip over to see this Car and if it was everything it was suppose to be I was going to buy it. After having a very unpleasant conversation with the person who says they own this Car, I think not. Here's the info that he didn't post on this board to interested buyers. This car is a Theft recovery and he said the Vins were changed. The Car Title and or registration is in another State as well at this time, not in Florida. I wouldn't buy this Car for $1.00. Buyer beware.

Id like to know if the car can be traced to the owner it was stolen from.

Makes sense why a VIN wasnt shared.

I have been working on that with the North Carolina DMV

I told the guy last night on the phone that the car had a reassigned vin #

He then copped an attitude & threatened me that he was a cop in the auto theft division & I'll see....... SEE WHAT... bring it cop

I do have the title in my office & have had it for a week.

I also have stated that if anyone was interested in the car to call me.

I think even with the vin # reassigned the car is worth at least $1.00

There is a reason this Car is still for sale and the price dropped $3000.00.

He calls a attitude questions like, Can this be traced back to the owner it was stolen from? Did you buy it from the insurance company that settled the claim with the Cars owner? He wouldn't answer any questions that any serious buyer would ask under these special "Theft Recovery reassigned vin circumstances". Then even wanted to know exactly why I wanted to buy the Car. Again a Really unpleasant fellow who could have stated Right up front what the situation was when he posted on this board with the details of the Car for sale. Again Buyer beware!
