1970 Vista Cruiser For Sale
I've owned this car for 6 1/2 years. Hate to see it go although other projects take precedence. This Vista Cruiser is looking for a good Oldsmobile home. Price is $2500 firm. At $2500 I am not making any profit or even breaking even with what I have in the car. See details below photos.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 1970 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser 145,500 Original Miles 2,700 miles on vehicle since ownership in 2003. 2 Seat 5 passenger model Built June 1970 in Lansing, Michigan Specs: Aspen Green Exterior with Dark Green Interior 350 cu. in. engine with 2 barrel carburetor. TH350 Automatic Transmission Air Conditioning Factory 8-Track Player and AM Radio Factory Hood lock Rear View mirror with map light Dash courtesy lights, Map light, and glove box light. Dual Action Tailgate with electric window. Roof Rack Spring 2003 New cap, rotor, wires, and spark plugs. Points & condenser were like new. Summer 2003 New one piece driveshaft New rear springs, shocks, and spring isolation pads. New hoses and thermostat. New vacuum lines. New headlights and assorted bulbs New battery. Fall 2003 Completely new braking system Rebuilt master cylinder New power booster New front brake hoses New rear brake hose New front steel brake lines and new rear steel lines New front calipers & pads Turned rotors New front wheel bearings Honed and rebuilt rear wheel cylinders with new aluminum cups and rebuild kit. November 2008 New water pump & thermostat. May 2009 Re-Cored 3 core radiator. The bad: Engine has one or two sluggish lifters once the engine is up to operating temp. that results in some ticking Rust in the typical lower front fenders. Rust along windshield base at cowl & dash Couple of small rust through spots at tailgate. Couple of pinholes in passenger front floor pan and secret compartment The transverse upper window channel will need partial rebuilding Side rear window lower channels will need some rebuilding. Cracked corner in passenger upper rear glass. Front seat bottom will need recovering. AC is not fully charged although the compressor will kick on. The good: The car is complete and all there The body is very straight Although the engine has 145k it does not smoke, compression is satisfactory, and does not burn oil. Floor pans are solid with the exception of the couple of pinholes in the passenger side floor pan. Spare tire area is solid. All lights in the car work. Rear tailgate electric window works Tires have 2,700 miles on them as well as the braking system. Drives great I have a factory rear spoiler that will go with the car. I have a complete set perfect original rear interior metal trim that will go with the car. Located in Spring, Texas.
