SOLD two 1963 Cutlass 2drs
SOLD
I want both cars gone. If there is no significant interest, everything is going to
I have two 1963 Cutlass 2drs for sale. The grey one is a driver, and the black one could be a driver. I planned on building both. There's tons of good and bad about both cars and I'll do my best to describe everything.
The grey car runs and drives. Fresh rebuilt transmission. New starter. New water pump. New harmonic balancer ($400). New thermostat, plugs, wires, and Pepertronix ignition. New motor and trans mounts. NOS exhaust manifold gaskets. Rebuilt master cylinder. Relined shoes with high-end friction composite, and turned drums. Have extra shoes and drums. 4bbl motor automatic on the tree, and 3.36 Mountain rear end. The floors, trunk and frame are super solid. No headliner or carpet. Sky blue interior in driver condition. Brand new bumpers fresh from the chrome shop. I have 99% of the chrome and mouldings. Doubles of a few things. Extra motor that ran until I pulled her last summer when she threw a rod. I have tons of extra stuff. At least three 4bbl Rochester carbs. Extra set of taillight housings. Extra water pump that is brand new. Extra front frame from a power steering car with complete suspension. 3 power steering pumps; most the parts to convert her. Lots of extra parts. Custom bellflowers, package tray, and stereo. Has the rare remote side mirror, but not hooked up inside. Metal Foxcraft fenderskirts. Bagged in the rear powered by two Viair 444s I bought last summer. Sitting on super rare 13" Star Wires that shine like new, wrapped in 155/80/13 white walls. Also included are a set of 13" American Racing Libres, also wrapped in 155/80/13 whites. I also have a full set of 14" steel wheels with 185/75/14 white walls. The spring loaded internal components of CV recently broke. I swapped the good driveshaft from the black car. The timing cover gasket needs to be done. I swapped the radiator from the black car and it works great.
The black car runs great but has oil in the coolant. I don't know why. I purchased the car from a friend recently. I put new sparkplug wires in her. There's resistance in the lead to the coil, and have yet to spend time investigating as to why. She needs floors. I bought her because the body is super straight and the dash is perfect. She's an automatic and has the shifter is on the floor. Rare remote mirror, and she is hooked up on the inside to function as it should. Rare emergency brake light on dash option. Glass and trim is great. Much of the floors have been cut out for repair.
