Currently listed for auction on ebay
1963 Oldsmobile Super 88 Fiesta Wagon
We purchased this time capsule from the daughter of the prior owner (she inherited it when he passed a few years ago).
Car has been sitting in barn/garage for 15-20 years with limited/no use.
Daughter stated original mileage, and our inspection supports this as mostly original parts on vehicles, and very limited wear on normal wear items.
When her father was alive they used it primarily for car shows, etc.
Has a 394 Skyrocket V8, Three speed automatic transmission.
Loaded with many rare factory options: air conditioning, cruise control, auto dim head lights, tilt wheel, power windows, power seats, and a roof rack to name a few.
We bought the car last fall. Aside from addressing mechanical issues (so that we could ensure car ran, etc), we wanted to preserve the car as we found it. We've done nothing to the body except for a good wash and vacuum.
Mechanically we and performed the following repairs: original alternator and original starter were rebuilt, rebuilt original carburetor, rebuilt original fuel pump, new air filter, new spark plugs, new water pump, new front brake hoses, lines, all four wheel cylinders and master cylinder. Engine starts and sounds great, brakes work and trans engages smoothly. We have not been able to take on extended test run due to weather here in PA.
This car is super solid. Much of it appears to be original paint. There are a few areas that show signs of some paintwork. Left fender has been painted and refinish is peeling off.
Chrome is peeling off the underside of bumpers.
Trim is in nice shape, interior is nice/clean and appears original.
Underside of car, frame and engine compartment have surface rust from moisture, but no rot.
Vehicle is available for inspection, please contact us to make arrangements.
We have tons of photos on our website at http://www.windfallrodshop.com/for-s...bile-super-88/ and a youtube video at

Thanks for sharing that extra video Eric. You can really tell the difference when he switches the engine from gasoline to diesel. It looks like there are some other cool videos that channel has. I will have to check them out.

Reasonably nice Wgn. for it's age but, but it's missing the Rocker Panel Mldgs., and Four end Caps. The Holes for the clips have been filled in as it does have the wheel well mlds. installed that support the need for the missing mouldings!

behind the pass front tire it looks kinda fishy too, like it has some putty in there.

That is a nice car Heath. Somebody has done lots of work on it with a 350 and Turbo 400. I wonder what they towed with it since it has a receiver hitch and the towing package with electronic brakes.

I'd suspect they had towed with it. It's a pretty car with a great deal of the factory issue intact. I'd load up my crew and cruise across the country with confidence and a Cheshire Cat smile on my face. Not cheap until one tries to replicate it.
