I am selling my Dad's 60 98 bubble top, we have enjoyed it for almost 22 years, dad passed away a couple of years ago, and we have decided to sell the car. It is a California car all it's life, painted Copper Mist with a two tone brown interior. The car was repainted, bumpers chromed, trunk completely relined with a new lining kit, seats reupholstered, new carpets, and the original uncracked dash pad. It was a one owner car that we bought off of a fellow Olds club owner, when we restored it. The only rust on the whole car when we purchased it was at the bottom of the front fender, which we had cut out and new metal put it. The engine compartment has been completely detailed and it has the deluxe wheel covers. I am currently in Dallas Tx, and will be in Los Angeles after the 6th of December. If you would like to see a picture of the car go to google images and type in 1960 Olds 98 and it is the copper car in two or three pictures, not the low rider car, ours is the stock one. Agreed on the google image search. I did the search as instructed and could not determine which car was his. I see the copper-colored low-rider, but no other copper-colored car that I could assume with confidence was his. As suggested, post the images here (you can right click on them at google images, select "copy image location," and them paste them into the dialog box that pops up when you click on the "insert image" (
) icon here).
As far as where the car is located, he does say that he will be going to Los Angeles in December, and the area codes of both of the phone numbers given are Los Angeles-area area codes. I'm guessing it's in the LA area.
Sorry guys, the car is in the Los Angeles area, I'm just visiting in Texas. The car is on the google images site, it is the picture taken in the park next to a 61 violet olds. The picture is way down at the bottom of the page. The car is taken at an angel, someone inserted that picture not me. I am not computer savvy, so I still can't get the pictures moved over. I will be listing it on ebay when I get back, the car gets a lot of compliments and has been in several commercials, not that that makes any difference, but it is a beauty.
