great collection
Your signature contains four milestone cars. Selling any of the four would be heart wrenching.
Good luck with the sale.

Having bought and sold many cars I feel this price is very fair. If I didn't have a perfect Cutlass, I would for certain be bidding on this perfect Cutlass. Dang it! Where were you when I was looking for this car! GLWTS!

W31 is safe and secure. Soon to be joined by a '69 W30 if all goes well.
The GSX is an Apollo White auto w/air non stage car. Currently in restoration at Thornton's in Pa. They are known for their Olds restorations. They do superior work imo.

sorry to hear you are using Thorntons for the restoration of your GSX. In my opinion they are not the best. They got caught selling a W30 car that was a clone at Barret-Jackson a year or two ago by the buyer. I have been to their shop and I saw things that were not correct on parts they were using to do restorations on Olds W and 442 cars.

There are two Thornton's shops in PA; they are completely separate operations, in different locations. One is operated by the Dad and one of the Thornton sons, while the other is operated solely by Troy (another Thornton son). Troy's shop, in Quakertown, PA, had nothing to do with the car sold with questionable paperwork.

I didn't realize the paperwork was questionable on that car? I thought it had been deemed to be completely fraudulent by a forensics expert. Also, the engine vin derivative characters did NOT match the characters of the trans?

I believe there was some issue with the paperwork. It was the matador red convertible sold about 3-4 years ago. The point of my post was that Troy Thornton's name shouldn't be attached to this car (whatever the issues were) as he had absolutely nothing to do with any aspect of the purchase, restoration, or sale of the car.

Thornton's
I don't know anything about that situation. I do know that my car went in a complete GSX and will come out a complete GSX. So far everything is to my expectation except maybe the time....but you know how that goes.
