Stainless Cleaning

I have used 0000 steel wool with wd-40 on my chrome per a post earlier and it worked very good. My body man told me to use a 000 or 00 but I didn't thinking they would be to course, anyway can I use this same combo on my stainless? Thanks.

Bar Keepers Friend contains oxalic acid and works well to clean stainless. I have not used it on a car and would be cautious of using it on anything still attached to the car due to possible paint damage. Wear gloves if using it as it does irritate skin.

I've used a good metal polish from time to time but I also have a polishing station with several bars and polishing wheels. I have found if you have a little patience you can straiten out your stainless steel yourself. It's not really all that hard.
