Help!! Please!!!
I have a 1997 Olds Bravada with 39,000 miles. I was driving home the other night and it just quit. After a little help and cutting the tach wire it started. Now I have no power(first gear gone) keys stuck in the ignition and the power door locks acted up but now work. If I disconnect the battery and then reconnect and start the car I have first gear until the check engine light comes on. Someone please help!

Sounds like you need to get a code reader on that car.

Did that. It pulled codes on the torque converter and something else. Have to go back and look. I'm thinking it could be the body control modular since it is effecting so any other things.

It sounds like it was jumperd and the computer locked? how long does it take for first gear to go? about 6 seconds? you can try putting it in nutreal starting it and returning it to park to get your keys out.
Good luck with your problem.
