Brake line fitting /thread 66 F85 330cui

Hello guys,

can anyone tell me what fitting/thread the break lines on a 66 f85 330cui have?
The one from the master cylinder to the T-piece (or whatever it is called).

Thank you very much, greetings from Austria

BR Daniel

The tee is called a distribution block. The threads are usually 3/8"-24 on the fittings for 3/16" diameter tube and 7/16"-24 on fittings for 1/4" tube. Note that on later cars with dual-circuit brakes, GM often used different threads on the flare nuts to prevent mis-connections on the assembly line. Your 1966 only has a single circuit brake system, so this should not be an issue for you.

Thank you very much for your quick response. Last but not least: is it a bubble or a inverted flare? I can´t uninstall the line yet to look -> long shipping time and I can´t drive meanwhile!

US-made cars didn't start using metric bubble flares until the 1990s, and many still use the traditional inverted flare. Anything from the 1960s uses inverted flare exclusively.
