1971 Cutlass Brake Pedal sticks slighty

1971 Cutlass Brake Pedal sticks slighty
Just wondering if anybody can help me out my brake pedal sticks slightly and when I forget to unstick it leaves my brake lights on and battery dies very embarrassing I have lubed,greased the pedal area up there and still sticks.....any suggestions?
Also as I'm driving when I press the brakes the brake pedal sticks and I have to unstick as Im driving or my brake lights stay on its a slight stick I can unstick it with my other foot as I'm driving, Cutlass does have power disc brake conversation on front only. Thanks guys

X2 with where Kenneth is going with the master or booster. Does the brake pedal go past the gas pedal when your fully breaking?
Is the master cylinder cap gasket all the way out when you take the cap off?Any fluid loss?
When you push the master cap gasket back in after braking several times does the gasket come back out?
