door skin
just wondering how high a lower door skin covers on a 69 cutlass s and how good of a fit is it. also do they make a full door skin for this car.

I believe they go up about 7 or 8 inches from the bottom of the door. Also, the front and rear of the skin did not have the flange on the panels I had. Basically it was just a flat piece of sheetmetal with one 1/2 inch bend along the bottom about 130 degrees. It's been a few years since I got them but the only mostly completely formed door bottom I've ever seen was for the 73-87 Chevy Pickup doors. Better than nothing I guess.

As stated before, no longer make door skins for a '69 and they haven't been reproduced. If you can find a NOS one, you're lucky, but will pay a high price for one.
If your door is that bad, try giving www.dvap.com a call. They might have one.

ya i just figured if they had a full skin i would go that route put I will probably just put a lower skin. it has some holes starting about 2 to 4 inches up the door so it should not be too bad.
