76 cutlass door compatibility
Hi, new to the forum. I couldn't find an answer to my question so here it is.
I have a 76 Cutlass Salon I'm getting into doing a restoration on. I'm currently tracking down certain parts etc, and have come across two very nice doors from a 75.
I know the 75 has the extra "flares" on the front and rear, but can you just reskin the frames using 76 skins to match up with the current body lines?
If not, what other manufacturers doors will match up with the Salon potentially?
Thank You.

I wouldn't want to hack up a pair of 75 doors myself. Not sure if you can buy aftermarket door skins TBH.
The 76-77 door would be much easier to re-skin if you had the sheet metal and spot welder.
I would put a wanted add here on C.O, I'm pretty sure someone here would be able to hook you up with some.
Paladin31 comes to mind here on C.O. with 76-77 olds parts, You can use the search put in his name and try PM'ing him.
I know the 76-77 buick regal, buick century door would fit. Unsure about others.
Post a few pics of your car when you get a chance. We all like pics from new members.
Cheers and welcome to C.O
