Need opinion on contours of fiberglass hood

I'm doing bodywork and paint for a friend on his '69 Cutlass S convertible. He got a Ram air hood from the parts place. It's a nice piece and well constructed, but I'm wondering if the inlets to the scoops are contoured right. Should the floor of the scoop be bowed up like this or more flat?

I found some pictures online that show more of a flat bottom. Maybe it should look more like these?

Thanks for the feed back. Should it be smooth inside? There's a "ledge" where the outer skin stops.

Maybe I'll try the old heat lamp and weight trick to get the bottom to lay flat. Really rather not cut it and reglass it.
