Rear spoiler

Hello everyone. I have just had a spoiler mounted to my trunk lid on my 1971 cutlass s. I am curious if the body shop made some mistakes because my trunk leaks now. I washed the car and afterwards my trunk had a lot of water in it. I am not sure if this is common or an error has been made. I do know that there is not any rubber washers or gaskets that came with the spoiler or the hardware. Anyone with info on this it will be greatly appreciated.

Use some strip caulk under the flat washers that mount the spoiler to the trunk.

The one I just sold had gaskets with it. Was aftermarket. You need gaskets or sealer. Gaskets were the shape of the legs that attached to the trunk lid.
