455 camshaft

what would be a good cam for a little more then mild 73 to 76 455,was thinking about using an rv cam,for the torc,would like some advise on what I might use.Thanks

Some people do use cams with the "rv" grind. I have found that to be a moniker some companies use to describe their mild cams which still provide good vaccum. I think you might tell everyone a little more about the application and expected use, what kind of vehicle, etc. This might help some.

well the car is a 76 nova,as you might have known from my screen name,455 nova,looking for a cam for street and strip use,with a some what mild idle as long as have vacum,putting p/b in the car,next year will be doing somthing a bit wild with it,so it will be more strip then street,but this year I want to be able to drive it and drag it weekends..

Does that mean you are going to re-build it with a different cam next year or will be using the same cam?

kinda what I am trying to do is build a low psi turbo set up,about 5 or so psi with a twin turbo set up I thought might be kool to try and see if it will work,but for right now,I am using a home built tunnel ram with 2 600 holley's
