455 Id

Hello I'm new this forumI have looked around but the same old story I'm trying to find out a little info about my455. The numbers I have found on the Block are 36R178199 and on the Heads it is marked 383821 and it has a large A on them a 2 and cfd . If anyone could help me out or show where to go it would be a great help. Thank You Bak

ok,
3 is old divition
6 is year
r is assembly plant
the last six is vehicle serial number
this is found on the drivers side of the block.

the casting number next to the oil filler tube is the block code.

the 383821 A head is a 1965 400-425 cibic inch head.
