Edelbrock carb choke replacement

So the previous owner removed the choke control on my Edelbrock carb so that the choke is always %100 open. This makes it very hard to start in the cold. It's on a 455 olds. Anyways I am looking for a replacement choke to install back on the engine. Would something like this work? Also how hard is it to install one of these since the old choke is completely gone.

Do you need that entire choke kit or just the coil (black round thing)?

It's super easy to install a choke. Maximum of 6 machine screws and running 12V ignition to the power lead of the coil.

That kit has a choke plate shaft as well. If you have NO choke components on your carburetor that is the way to go; however, you will still need the choke plate.

It depends on what you mean by "completely gone". That kit will work, but may be overkill depending on what's missing. I'm curious why you would get this from OPGI instead of directly from E-brock.
