Bore a 371 to 394

Hello
Does anyone know if its possible to bore a 1959 371 to a 394
Its wery hard or impossible to find oversize pistons for the 59 engine, and a total rebuild kit for a 1959 394 is less expensive.

Best Regards from Denmark

Where did you look for pistons? Also, what do you call expense?

Give Tony a call at Ross Racing first (he may have the correct pistons) but I think I have heard of that being done. The block should be sonic checked .And is this a 57- 58 block or a 59- 60 block? this makes a difference as 59- 60 371's are really small bore 394's where as 371's are more like blown up 324's... Its a 59 Block, if i was a 57-58 there is a lot of pistons and rebuild kit for sale on Ebay. But not for the 59 371.
