G Head Exhaust & Valves

I have a pair of G Heads that I want to use for a street performance build. Does the exhaust divider set that far back from the exhaust manifolds? see image #1. I want to use the performance W X manifolds. Should I look for the open divider on the exhaust manifolds? Please review the other photo. Is this the large valve heads?
Thanks CO

Hi "CO", just delivered a unit with those heads, left the factory valve sizes in play! Intakes should be 2.065", exhausts 1.625"??

Dynoed at 410 HP @5200, 9.5:1 C.R., stock stroke, on 100% stock-appearing build, all factory "hard" parts, intake manifold (Q-jet), exhaust manifolds, etc. Was not "chasing" any specific HP numbers, no porting anywhere, "it was what it was". Customer was very happy with the end result.

(Add) You'll definitely need to mill those exhaust flanges to seal properly, we did on customer's build here.

Thanks, Gary in N.Y.

P.S. Only non-stock internal change was over to a Comp Cams retro-hyd-roller and some Eagle H-beam rods. Here's a few shots.

Good rods, Harlan Sharp roller rockers and roller camshaft. Nice build.
