Hi there I am new to the site but I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a few questions I have about my Olds 455. I have rebuilt the motor with just the stock pistons for now. It has J heads that were mildly ported with new valve guides, seals and seats and comp cam springs. I also have a comp cam 280H in it a holley 750 vacuum secondary. I am kinda wondering roughly what sort of power I would be looking at. I am also wondering how much of a difference would an aluminum intake make I heard from one person the only difference will be the reduction in weight then another person told me I would see a good power gain by switching intakes. I would also like to know what kind of improvement I would get from a totally adjustable vale train with 1.62 roller rockers? I am also considering a bore increase to either 30 or 60 over with forged pistons. Any help would be appreciated it is hard to find people that really know anything about Olds motors...
