where can i find a 455 and a th400 for my cutlass
hey anyone wanna give me some phone numbers, email adresses, websites, or anything else on where i can find a 455 and a th400 for my 68 cutlass supreme im located in langley B.C. and if anyone from the lower mainland or B.C. could tell me where i can find one please contact me

Sorry I don't have a direct answer for you, but sometimes it is easier to just buy a junker or project car to get your drivetrain. Try EBay.
Also you might consider a 425/TH400 if you come across one. The 425 will rev due to its square configuation. This engine never got its fair due as it was never in a 442/Hurst. It did set records at Pikes Peak in a Toronado. And there was that 442MUCH twin 425 front and rear drive that virtually smoked the entire quarter mile. I could be wrong, but I think an equally prepared 425 will outrun a 455 due to the better rev potential.

Oh...just talked a friend, he knows someone whom is selling a 455 and the trans as well for $1000. Apparently its slightly modified, manifold, headers etc.
Let me know ifyou want it and I will pass along some numbers. I belive it's in Surrey, maybe Cloverdale. |

One of the guys at realoldspower.com has a 455 forged pistons H beem rods along with a TH400 for $1000 in Austin Texas I cant seem to find the post now but it should still be there.
