Can't you get an OEM type replacement sensor at the auto parts store? Anyway, if redog doesn't see this post give him a shout via PM, he has some experience with the newer models, so does Olds64.

Go to the auto parts store and have them pull your codes. They will do a print out giving you the codes and what they mean. Use that to trouble shoot your problem. If it is the mass air flow sensor then you will probably have to get an OEM replacement from the dealership or the auto parts store. Be prepared to spend some $$$. Mass air flow sensors are pretty complicated devices.
