If it is a rope seal, it could probably be replaced without taking the engine apart. I had that done with the old 69 Ford F250 I had for awhile. The place I took it to had a tool that they called a "Sneaky Pete". Ever hear of it? Either way, I've got to get it done. What should it cost? Any ideas?
