Click on the "Oldsmobile Performance" link at the top of the page. It'll take you to a pretty good reference.

...and an Olds 455 powered Nova (did you know that Nova translates to "No go" in Spanish?) is really a wrongly badged Omega.

I'll bet it did! I'm hoping to score a 455 soon, myself.

72-76 455. Low compression and EGR...but it's a great start!

You won't find one. A QJet on a Performer will do what you want. My best bud here runs a 70 442 W30, cast iron unported heads, Performer with a QJet into the 11s. And that's a MUCH bigger car.

i agree. although we all love dual quads, most 455's just plain dont rev high enough to warrant one. i have a 750cfm edelbrock on mine, and i think it may be just bigger than i really need. in order for a 455 to need any more than that, you need to be spinning it over 7000 rpm. the formula for finding how much you need is: engine ci x volumetric efficiency x engine rpm / 3456. making a 455 spin over 6 grand is a feat, and getting efficiency over 85% is pretty tough, unless you're running a blower or turbo. if your hearts still set on a dual quad for the cool factor, try running two 500's, or maybe 600's. i belive summit can get you and intake from offenhauser
