I have rebuilt a 1970 455 with Forged Speedpro pistons, comp cam 490/490 lift, new comp cam springs, mildly or portmatched heads to my Torker 455 intake, and the whole assembly was balanced. Do you think that the 355 posi I have in is the correct gearing or should I go steeper? It is not a daily driver, just a weekend warrior. I have had people tell me to go as steep as 390 or 410 gears. Do you thnk that is too high of RPMs on my big block?
