indeed it was prmarily the intake that opened up the mill at higher revs...i talked to some olds dudes at a local cruise and all the hardcore ones who race, unanimously recommended the torker2...the 4160 holley was also a recommendation [couldn't afford anything more expensive so it was deemed best on my budget]...
my ride is truly my drug/shrink/escape so i don't care about the economy despite living on a tight budget..performance rules in my book and i need that kick when i drive it each time...i'm quite happy with its performance now considering it has to remain a dependable 24/7/365 daily driver....
well, except for an overheating problem...but i'm starting a new thread for this so i won't go off topic and perhaps some of you here will be able to help me diagnose the problem...
