There's also the matter of the longevity of them in this location. I'm on my second Aurora and the battery in the first car lasted over 8 years and 150k miles. I just sold that car (a 97 Autobahn) at 206k miles. I bought a 40k mile 96 Autobahn and swapped the battery I bought for the 97 in before I sold it. I can't complain at all about the location. It stays nice and clean too for what that's worth and it wasn't tough at all to swap it...
