Thanks Texasred. I am also in Texas in Rowlett which is in the Dallas area. I appreciate the advice. I have found out that Olds people are really big on Qjets. I saw a guy from East Texas at the Nationals this year that specialized in Qjets and had four of them on a blown BB in a 66-67 442. If you saw him and have his name, I would appreciate it. Otherwise I may go with Sparky's. When you start reading the different forums, you really do realize the Olds is different. It just takes more $$. Common sense tells me to just do what I was talking about but then emotions tell me to go all the way through it and use flat top pistons while I have it out. The jury is still out on that one. I have a Toro oil pan and one of the things I have found out is I don't want to use a high volume oil pump. I have to finish my friends 54 Super 88 convertible before I can start on the Cutlass. The 54 is almost done after 4 1/2 years.
Thanks for the input.
