Nice to see eveyone back on the board...

The THM350 uses a cable for the detent downshift (kickdown). The THM300 (the 2 speed unit you removed) and the THM400 use and electric switch for the detent down shift. what you need to do is find a 1970's Cutlass with the same carb that you have (2bbl or 4 bbl) and get the bracket from the back of the Carb. When you remove the bracket you will see the cable connected to the throttle bellcrank on the left side of the carb.
