Damn. I'd go right down and buy it now, but I think I'd be murdered by my other half.
I've heard the "We've got too many cars" line a few times this week already.

I NEED one of those .

Hi Al

the top frame looks to be in good shape (maybe best part of the car LOL) are there specific areas of the frames that rot or get broken LMK and I will look at those places. The power top worked up and down when parked...I believe itss the original top too

Hi John

its rusty from sitting in NE (covered portable garage) but was good before being parked. are there specific areas where these frames are likely to crack or rust LMK and Ill look there

I will add i have seen better frames for sale on CL unless you want the vert frame specifically

Dean

heres a pic from the 80s when my dad first bought it....haha I just noticed it still has the same tires on it

Hey Retro usually the header bow is the part of the top that get rusted most.. I'm looking for a top frame to take apart and rebuild.. I have a 1972 cutlass supreme convertible and I took the top frame of and got it powder coated and for some reason we can't get it to fit properly it just won't aligned right we have tried everything and the passenger side of the frame just won't go all the way forward.. I can get it to lock with the latches but it's really hard.. The top frame I have is not original to the car.. The car was stolen and they took the top frame.. The guy I bought this top frame did not know the exact year or car it came from but he was pretty sure it was for a A body car between 1968-1972... So just for a start if we where to work out a deal on the top frame what do you think the shipping charges would be to to Northend California... Any idea where I can get the best pricing for I'm worried shipping here is going to be alot.. Thanks..

Hi Al

Is the header bow where it attaches to the windshield at the top...I didnt detach it there but I can.

As stated above if the car doesnt sell in ~9-26 I start parting it.

IDK on shipping ill look around to get an idea, what does the top frame usually sell for +- you can PM if you dont want to reply here ....

the original protect o plate

the original warrenty pamphlet

and a SC title from the guy my dad bought the car from

I am also lowering the price to $1250 for the whole car as shown above in the most recent pics
