i bought this 442 at an auction, fully documented with protecto plate, unrestored original (about 5 years ago)
data tag decoder site lists:

Assembly Date Fifth week of December

Lower Color Crystal Blue
Upper Color/Conv Top Provincial White
Interior Option Blue Vinyl Bucket Strato Bucket Seat
Accessory Codes

Accessory Group 2
4-speed manual transmission (M-20)
Center console

W-29 Trim (all 442 markings and equipment)
weird part is this is a non power brake, non power steering car.
i thought the 442 was built on a Cutlass Supreme, which had all these as standard equipment?
has anyone ever seen a 442 equipped with M20 4 speed, 3:90 limited slip, no power steering & no power brakes before? after 5 years of searching- i have yet to find one like this.

The 442 performance package, available only on the Cutlass Supreme, included a 3-speed floor-shift manual transmission. The 442 package could also have been had with a 4-speed manual or the Turbo-Hydramatic, apparently for the same price. The 442 package as a whole was $184.31.
Here's the Cutlass Supreme page out of the '67 Dealer Specs book.

Rule of thumb:
Muscle cars came standard with:
- 3-speed manual (mostly on the floor)
- no power anything
- no gauges
- hubcaps
- no radio
- etc.
Even among cheapies, the 1968 Plymouth Road Runner came standard with a 4-speed. In 1970, they made a floor-shifted 3-speed standard to keep the price down.
