Always on the look for 68-71 real deal 442 convertibles. Ran across a 72 vert, 350 2 barrel, auto, bench seat. Should I be interested? 11,000 Supreme verts made in 1972. 442 was just badges and suspension that year. I'm just trying to gauge other Old's guys thoughts on this.

Obviously the car you found is a 350, but if it's a documented real W29, you can wear your 442 badging proudly in my opinion.

Sorry, but it's a 3.5-2-1. 1972 was the beginning of the end for 442s and led to the six cylinder and 260-powered cars that came later. That engine is 160 HP net. I'll point out that's less than a VIN 9 307, or even a W-40 Quad 4.
