Trifecta of W-30s
#9
Got a quick question for you. Was recently in PA for a family trip and finally got to see the 1970 W30 my father in law owned, which is now ours. How can I tell which of the wheels were original to the car? He had both types of wheels that you have on yours in the basement, but the wheels currently on the car are ET. Trying to figure out which set to keep, or both. Thanks. See pic below.

Without docuentation or as delivered vintage pictures it may not be possible to prove how your W30 was equipped from Lancing.
You might be able to rule out one of the sets as incorrect by looking at the date codes on the rims. It will be close to the valve stem hole.
I say keep them all and alter the look as you desire.

Your 442s are bright and shiny. Looking GREAT! Ours has some shine in it. Mostly in the mirrors. haha.
