Starter ID delco remy 1108371 correct for my '68 442?

Trying to sort through some of my piles of parts- anyone know if this part number and a K12 code are correct for my car. If not I'll use the rebuilt unit I have
Thanks

It's a Cadillac starter except Eldo 1968 1969 1970...maybe more. Need to see a pic of the code for exact year. 8=68 9=69, etc.

Thanks for the quick answer. Guess its not original

Any idea if it's worth anything or should I just give away to someone local?

Thanks

I think it's actually a pretty good starter, a high torque starter. It's like the same starter you would use, just a different number. It may or may not have the threaded hole for the bracket but would work.

If any of you fine gentlemen want to add this starter to your collection- turns out I have three of them. I can ship it in a usps medium fixed rate box. I'll move this to classifieds tomorrow.
Thanks again for the decoding- none of my starters are correct yet I'm not aiming for a numbers match....no biggie.
