Does anyone know if an Edelbrock RPM Air Gap Intake Manifold on a 455 will fit under a 70-72 W-30 Ram Air Hood? I'm not concerned about using the factory style air cleaner assembly, I am just concerned about being able to close the hood while using a simple aftermarket chrome air cleaner.

I have an Edelbrock Torker intake and the standard olds air cleaner base and cover on the top of a holley carb and it fits just fine under the hood. I checked, it has about .75 inch clearance to the top of the air cleaner lid.
