Until I get more information I was hoping someone on this site lived near Cincinnati and knew about the car.

Once again, it's a 1967 (sans VIN-derivative stamps) but "...All numbers match..."

If I were interested in this car I assume I could make a phone call to the seller and get a lot more info direct from the seller. Give it a try, that's how I buy a lot of items!

I plan on calling the seller, just thought I could shortcut the whole process. Just trying to take the lazy way out and not waste time if it wasn't worth it. Evidently not as many people check craigslist as I thought.

Well, here's the story. Cannot get any photos, seller does not have a computer nor access to one and if he did he would not know how to use it. He did say it was a real 442 for whatever that is worth. This is going to be a 10 hour drive round trip which is what I was hoping to avoid.

I apologize for posting a request for help without more information. Did not mean to upset anyone since you folks have saved me from myself more than once. I began to wonder that since he said he did not have a computer and if he did he wouldn't know how to use it, how did he get the ad with the picture on craigslist? He said he had a neighbor/friend do it. I asked him what numbers he checked to determine that it was "numbers matching". He sounds offended that I asked and stated, "all of them since its an original car". I wasn't going to go and look at the car but my curiousity is getting the better of me. Its either going to be a total waste of time or a hell of a find! Again, did not mean to upset anyone.

I don't think you offended anyone, and It may be worth a trip. Let us know what you find, it may be the deal of the century.
