PUI interior for '68

Hi--

I just received a set of door panels for my '68 442 from PUI. I'm a little concerned about the diamond pattern on the upper portion. It doesn't seem to be as pronounced as the factory pattern, and I'm worried it's not going to match. I'm at work at the moment and can't check the car (and don't want to carry them all the way home if I have to return them), so I'm not 100% sure, but compared to a photo I have of an original interior, it certainly looks different.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm keeping the original rear panels and I really want them to match.

Thanks

Well, I figured it out--it doesn't match properly. So, for those of you trying to exactly match your interior, you're best going with Legendary. Not sure how other PUI stuff is, but they definitely don't have it right for the '68.

Nuts, I boxed it up already for return. Basically, the lower portion's "Madrid" grain doesn't match up that great, and even worse was the diamond pattern. The pattern was there, but really just didn't look right. I think the dots that the diamond is comprised of aren't big/deep enough, so it looks VERY faint.

It reminded me of the fake Gucci purses you see here in NYC for sale down in Chinatown. Kinda right, but not really.

Definitely going with Legendary from now on. (I should have known better. was trying to save a few bucks--not worth it.)
