1967 442 Engine Fan
What is the correct fan for a 1967 442. Attached is a picture of what is on my car, but do not know what is supposed to be there. The car is a 4 speed, with manual steering and brakes. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

Usually yer 6-blade HDC fan also comes with a shroud to help ensure it draws air THRU the radiator, not just "from near it."
I'd go for the stock 4-blade unless you have HDC and/or AC - ck your water pump ID- in which case shroud & clutched 6x fan.

Personal preference. I'm not a big fan of the flex fans, I had one that a blade cracked on and launched. Probably was a cheapo fan to begin with. Plus it sounded like an airplane when I got on it . My preference would be to put a 6 or 7 blade clutch fan on it. But depending on what part of the country you live in, and how hot the summers are. You could use any of the fans suggested in this thread as long as they provided the cooling you needed.

One of the things I see when looking at the 66 Assembly manual is that the pulleys drive ratios changed between AC and non AC this was accomplished by different diameter pulleys being used on the crank and the water pump, check it out. Speed up the fan at any rpm and you get more air flow, so maybe it's not a fan issue but a pulley issue.

Got a new Holley 750 for $310 and solved everything
