newbie with 68 442

Just want to say hi to all. I have been here for about a month or so, but finally found my project. 68 442 convertible that I plan on making raod worthy again. Unfortunately, it does not ahve the oringinal motor, or any motor for that fact. Was planning on finding as close to original motor as possible, but came accross a 455 deal I don't think i can pass up. So, since it will never be numbers matching, might as well go 455!

Here are some pictures of it when I picked it up.

Thank you all for your encouragement. I hope to ahve fun doing this project. Today I steam cleaned eveything to get started. Want to start with a "clean" slate. I will keep all posted on my progress.
