Q & A session on this car with Jensenracing77 - 70 W-30

I can imagine that many of you have questions about the 70 442 W30 I am going to have on eBay soon. I have no problem answering them and have done so through various PMs. However, I'd like to let you also speak with someone who has much more knowledge on these cars than I do and has had his hands and eyes on many of these cars, including a few months with this car. So Jensenracing77 has agreed to answer some of the more in-depth questions you may have concerning things here.

However, he is deferring the body/rust questions to me because he knows so many people have differing opinions on those. The best thing I can do for those is take as many pictures as you need and post them. I can assure you that he has seen much much worse in person and also has seen better. But on an un-restored survivor car, I'm thinking this car is probably one of the better ones. Pics next week - tell me what you need closeups of. Browse away at my gallery if you want for now, pics are at the bottom of every post I make. Just click the link.

So, who has any questions on the car?

Want one, but who wouldn't?

OK. I'll bite, What's the cash price Bill? Just aski'n what everun's think'n.
There goes the phone again, back to work. I'm sure I will need to a lot of that to even be able to afford a 70 W. Overtime, overtime.

Well, that's a question I've actually had both via PM and text. Of course I've declined to answer and I know your partly joking here...Also have had some people interested in buying before the eBay sale, but I just can't do that now.

There will be a reserve and I can't disclose it. However, I can tell you what it will be lower than. It will be lower than $44230.00

Was browsing back through pics that Eric gave me and figured I couldn't get any better pics of the underneath than this. Wanted to post them for your consideration. The rust spots that will need attention are at the bottoms of the fenders and also a small amount on the one door. I'll work on getting pics of those.

Any questions for Eric on anything he did to the car?

Here are the lower fenders and that passenger door. Also a little crease at the front of the pass side.

No questions yet, don't know if that's good or bad. Guess I have previously both said a lot and posted a bunch of pics so maybe those posts and images answer a lot. Just figured someone would have some more technical questions for Eric, like what were the specs on the endline for the rotary girder??? Fire away.

Have you shown pics of the car here? I dont recall seeing any, but would love to see it. Is it complete? Have all the W specific parts? Does it run? Pictures? Are you offering it for sale here or just letting know it will be for sale on Ebay?
Id love to see it

Here is a thread with many more pictures. I worked on it for about a month. It has all the original parts and engine with a broadcast card except the 4 speed transmission. Was converted to an automatic yeas ago using a TH400 out of a 69 H/O.

You can view additional pics by scrolling through my gallery link at the bottom of every post I make. It sure does run. See this video: https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...oad-today.html

Car will be for sale on eBay starting September 11th in the evening. Probably will do a week auction. No, I won't take any money for the car at this point and would rather open it up to everyone to have a chance at it. There has been a lot of interest in this car and I feel it is the right thing to do, give everyone a fair shot.

Any additional questions on the car? Good or bad, get it out there. I'm all about full disclosure because I want a happy buyer. You don't even have to be a potential buyer to ask a question. Anyone?
