36 olds business coupe

Hi all

I recently acquired a 1936 olds coupe. Its in amazing shape body has next to no dents and almost all of the orgional trimmings in boxes.

this will be.my.first real project car.

it so far has mustang 2 front.end w disc brakes ford 9inch rear end w four link adjustable coil over auspension. front frame reinforced . stailness firewall.

I'm picking up a slightly modified 69 year 350 w 700 trans that has a fresh rebuild w shift kit and new clutches.

I will have lots of questions seeing I'm only 28, but have been working in a automotive shop. for 7 years and 2 years of automotove college. so i have the tools power and somewhat knowledge .

my father and mother have a 74 nova and a 34 chevy 2door sedan
So cars flow deep in my blood.

If you still have the original wheels/hubcaps in good condition there's a guy on AACA forums looking for a set.

And do that car a favor and find a proper Oldsmobile engine for it. Otherwise we will summon Ransom E. and John Beltz from the grave to haunt you!

That would look good with the wheels painted a red oxide with poverty caps, and the wide whites the you want.

I have always really liked the cars from that era, they have a certain appeal to me that is hard to define. Yours looks great. Welcome to CO.

Welcome! That is gonna be a very cool looking street rod.
I love the 30's cars like that. Make up a major project thread so we can watch the progress. Not too many 30's builds here!
BTW, you forgot a picture of the front, the best part in my opinion!

Hey man, Take it easy with the name calling!!!!!!! I prefer my prewar Olds' referred to as "Seductively Voluptuous", or maybe full figured in all the right places!!!
